Colombo
Colombo is the commercial centre and the largest city of Sri Lanka and its former capital. The Colombo Harbour is the largest port in Sri Lanka. There are many corporate offices, restaurants and landmarks in the city such as Viharamahadevi Park, the Muragan Hindu temple or the Galle Face Green, which is the city's most famous promenade.
Kandy
Kandy which is also known as Maha Nuvara, is located in the centre of Sri Lanka. Kandy is both religious and administrative city and is Sri Lanka's cultural capital. It is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Tourists can admire landmarks such as The Temple of the Tooth, The Tea Museum or The Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya, the best botanical garden in Sri Lanka.
Beruwala
Beruwala is a small resort town located on Sri Lanka's south western coastal belt. There is Msjid-ul-Abrar in Beruwala, the oldest mosque in Sri Lanka built on the rocky peninsula overlooking the town. Beruwala has one of the Sri Lanka's longest beaches and bathing is possible here almost for the whole year.
