  Kandy which is also known as Maha Nuvara, is located in the centre of Sri Lanka. Kandy is both religious and administrative city and is Sri Lanka's cultural capital. It is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. • Beruwala

  Beruwala is a small resort town located on Sri Lanka's south western coastal belt. There is Msjid-ul-Abrar in Beruwala, the oldest mosque in Sri Lanka built on the rocky peninsula overlooking the town. Beruwala has one of the Sri Lanka's longest beaches and bathing is possible here almost for the whole year.
